Winter Birds

Designer Foils, glitter and flocking team up with Design Adhesives for festive holiday greetings for everyone on your list. Three of my favorite Design Adhesives are featured here - Branches and Blooms, In the Forest and Jolly Greetings - with Cherry Pie Designer Foils, Ocean Spray Glitter and flocking from Hampton Art Stamp.  The silvery accents on the right are foiled with Silver Fog Designer Foils. 


I love layering artsy finishes and textures - like velvety brown flocking and the rich metallic shimmer of Cherry Pie. The proceses are simple - gather your supplies and make a bunch of these cards. Scatter joy...and glitter and flocking!

• Bazzill Lagoon Cardstock (5-1/2" square card)
• Paper Accents Brown Bag Cardstock

• Soft Round Paintbrush
• Hampton Art Stamp Brown Flocking
• Scrapbook Adhesives 1/4" Black Foam Squares
• 1-1/4" Circle Punch    

Directions

• Burnish the small branch from Branches and Blooms Design Adhesives onto Brown Bag Cardstock
• Brush flocking onto the adhesive pattern
• Burnish the small bird from In the Forest Design Adhesives onto the branches
• Burnish Cherry Pie Designer Foils onto the birds
• Trim the cardstock to 4'' x 2-1/8" and ink the edges with Chocolate using the Stylus and Tip
• Snap the Chocolate Ink Cartridge and Design Wheel into the Jumbo Inking Handle
• Place the Stamping Guide along the edge of a strip of Dark Red Cardstock and roll the image onto the cardstock
• Cut two strips (approximately 2-1/8" x 1-3/16" each) of the image and ink the edges with Chocolate
• Burnish JOY from Jolly Greetings Design Adhesives onto dark brown cardstock and brush Ocean Spray Glitter onto the adhesive
• Punch it into a 1-1/4" circle
• Punch three additional cardstock circles and layer them for dimension
• Cut a 1-1/2" x 5" strip of dark brown cardstock
• Assemble the card, using foam squares for the greeting circle
• Attach two foam squares near the right edge and press Silver Fog Designer Foils onto the adhesive
