Hello, Jean here today, sharing a few bird-blinging techniques...

The chipboard bird here is Spritzed, Smooched, Glittered and Sparkle-Fibered. The splashy colors featured are Grape Burst, Sun Kissed and Sea Kiss Smooch Spritz, Pumpkin Smooch, Grape Fizz Glitter and Grape Crush Sparkle Fibers.  

Glittered French Swirl Design Adhesives add quick and easy detailing, and a few strips of a crimped recycled grocery bag become a simple nest.  For best results, dry the Smooch Spritzes completely before applying Design Adhesives.

Other Supplies

• Paper Accents Light Glorious Green Cardstock (5-1/2" square card)
• Paper Accents Dark Spring Green Cardstock
• Paper Accents Muslin Aloha Cardstock
• Paper Accents White Chipboard Bird
• Grocery Bag
• Spellbinders Small Standard Circles - 3-1/2" Die
• Diecut Machine
• 3/4" Circle Punch
• Paper Crimper
• Black Bead 
• Soft Round Paintbrush

Directions

• Place the chipboard bird in the Color Catcher and spritz the bird with Sea Kiss, Sun Kissed and Frosted Grape Smooch Spritz 
• Ink the edges of the bird using the Stylus, Tip and Charcoal
• Dry the inks
• Burnish the Design Adhesives swirl onto the bird and brush it with Grape Fizz Glitter 
• Smooch the beak with Pumpkin
• Snip notches along the end of the tail to create an irregular edge
• Spread a thick layer of Glue Gloss on the end of the tail and press Grape Crush Sparkle Fibers into the adhesive
• Attach the bead for the eye
• Diecut a 3-1/2" circle of Aloha Cardstock
• Crimp a strip of grocery bag paper and cut it into narrow strips
• Stamp the tiny text onto Dark Spring Green Cardstock with Charcoal
• Punch five 3/4" circles of the text
• Punch five additional circles of scrap cardstock, attach them to the stamped circles for dimension and ink the edges with Charcoal
• Assemble the card
