Clearsnap Out of the ColorBox



















Welcome to the week one of the Out of the Colorbox Color Challenge. Twice a month we will post a color challenge hosted by me, Niki Meiners. It is easy to play along; simply create a create a project using the colors provided. What you create is up to you; it could be a card,
scrapbook page, mini-book, quilt or a mixed media piece. The sky is the limit!

Here's how to enter the challenge:
  1. Post your creation on your blog or online gallery using the linky service we've supplied below. Please provide a direct link to your project to make your creations easier to find.
  2. Each challenge will have one winner. The prize will vary each week . We'll announce the winners when we post the next challenge.
  3. ALL entries will be collectively entered into a drawing at the end of the quarter for a large prize. So, the more you play along the more chances you will have to win the big prize.
Check out the creations below for inspiration using these colors. Our designers have achieved very different looks with the same color combination and we cannot wait to see what you create with this combo!

Materials:
  • Sizzix Die Cut
  • The Crafters Workshop stencil 
  • Best Creation Chipboard
  • Hero Arts - Stamp CL333
  • Misc Ribbon
Directions:
  1. Die cut cardstock
  2. Stencil pattern on die cut piece. 
  3. Adhere together. 
  4. Ink chipboard and sand when dry. 
  5. Stamp sentiment and adhere to center of flower. 
  6. Adhere embellishments as shown.

Directions:
  1. Stamp Spots Molding Mat with the Jumbo Get Rollin’ and Cookie Dough Ink
  2. Ink the chipboard frame with Atlantic Blue Ink.
  3. Ink the die cut doily edges with Dark Cherry ink.
  4. Dab seam binding with Dark Cherry ink and spray with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.
  5. Die cut stamped circle and stamp sentiment.

  5. I tried to use Linky- as on your FB page you told we still have today to enter the challenge, but it's closed. So here it is and I also added it on the FB page- my new second card for your challenge full of Colorbox inks- for edges, before Utee embossing, for coloring a flower etc.
