Today, Mary Dawn Quirindongo and Jennifer Priest are sharing several wonderful holidays projects with you:
Mary Dawn here! I created a vintage style wall medallion to dress up your front door or hang over the mantle this holiday season:
![]() |
| Cut book text into squares and stamp with the Jumbo Rollagraph Snow and Top Boss Watermark Ink Cartridge. |
![]() |
| Roll your stamped book text squares into cones and adhere with a quick drying liquid glue. The tighter the paper cones are rolled, the more you will need for your project. |
![]() |
| Paint chipboard accents with acrylic paint and dry with a heat gun. |
![]() |
| Once the paint is dry add a layer of Studio G antique gold glitter glue. When the glitter glue is dry, add a coat of Smooch Glitz Goldrush. |
Once all of my elements where complete, I adhered them together using hot glue. I built up the space in the center with layers of foam core. As a finishing tough I added glitter glue and Smooch Glitz Goldrush to the edges of the book text cones. Finally, I added a loop of extra wide taffeta ribbon to the back and covered the back with a cardstock circle.
- Smooch Spritz Candle Glow
- Smooch Glitz Goldrush

Jennifer Priest created two sweet projects featuring our new ColorBox Scentz™ scented embossing powders and Imaginisce's Santa's Little Helper collection.
Need a last minute stocking stuffer? This hot cocoa set features a tube of hot cocoa mix and a tube of Candy Cane Kisses, decorated for the season with Imaginisce's Santa's Little Helper collection.
Jennifer used the penguin embossed chipboard sticker from Imaginisce's Santa's Little Helper Collection to embellish the tubes. To create the texture on the penguin's cap, apply *new* EmbossGloss to the penguin's cap.
Then sprinkle with *new* ColorBox Scentz™ Scented Embossing Powder in Peppermint and heat set. This scented embossing powder really packs a punch of mint, perfectly festive for the holiday season. The scent lasts 2-3 weeks after embossing.
After heat setting, apply heat a second time to the embossing powder until it bubbles. This process of burning the powder creates a fluffly, puffed texture in the powder, giving the cap more definition and depth. Apply *new* Smooch Glitz™ in Firecracker to the berries on the Holly Diecut.

Next, Jennifer created a layout about her son joining in on the family's tradition of baking cookies, breads, and candies for friends and family during the holidays. The Gingerbread Houses in this Imaginisce collection are perfect for any holiday themed page!
To carry the theme of baking, Jennifer created "cookies" for the page. She also used Smooch Spritz® to accent the embossed papers in the Santa's Little Helper Collection. Here's how:
Stamp several Christmas Trees from the Imaginisce Snag 'em Stamps collection onto kraft cardstock using Top Boss® Watermark Embossing Ink. Sprinkle with ColorBox Scentz™ Scented Embossing Powder in Snickerdoodle and heat set. The scent will permeate the paper and last for 2-3 weeks. Cut out the trees to look like cookies, inking the edges with a ColorBox Fluid Chalk Cat's Eye in Chestnut Roan to give them a golden brown look. Apply a coat of Smooch Glitz™ in Frost to the trees to give them a sugary glow.
Coat a chipboard diecut with Smooch Spritz® in Holly Berries. Apply to the page as a photo mat. Spray the layout randomly with Smooch Spritz® in Vanilla Shimmer. The intense sparkle of the mica-infused ink will stand out on the matte finished paper yet wipe away from embossed areas, creating interesting contrast on the page.
