PARTY!!!

Hello, hostess Tami here!

2012 is coming to a close and the time to welcome in 2013 is just a few days away. I have a New Year's Eve Party Invitation to show you today. It features lots of Stephanie Barnard products...

Stephanie Barnard Spray!, ColorBox Premium Dye Ink, Sprinkles! Chunky Glitter and a The {Stamps} Of Life stamp set were all used to create this invite...

The blue background for the invitation started out as a light aqua cardstock; it was given a light coat of Sky Spray! to create some color variation. The party info was stamped using The {Stamps} Of Life Invites2Create stamp set and Stephanie Barnard ColorBox Premium Blueberry Dye Ink. The Blueberry ink was also applied around the edge of the cardstock piece using the ColorBox Stylus & Tip.

To add a little modern style to the invitation, only 2 corners, the upper left and lower right were rounded.

The snowflake design was created by punching out snowflakes using Lever Punches from Fiskars, that punch cleanly and easily even through cardstock.  And since I hate to waste any little bits, I turned the punched snowflakes over and coated them with Sprinkles! Chunky Glitter. Beacon's Fast Finish was used to adhere and seal the glitter. It's a lightweight liquid that is great to use when you don't want your glitter to flake off and It dries quickly too.

The stamped piece was double matted on white and black cardstock, with matching rounded corners. Then the glittered snowflakes were adhered in between the punched out snowflakes, and blue rhinestones and pearls from Bo Bunny were added to the white snowflake centers. A blue rhinestone border was also added between the "you're invited" and info portion. A fine tipped black pen was used to add all the details to the party invite.

      2. LOVE THIS!! I love the way you used the snowflake punches, too, and blinged it up! The two rounded corners add to it, too! How fun!
Hope the party was a success! :)
