All this week we've teamed up with our friends at Helmar to share inspiring projects, ideas, and more using our inks + Helmar adhesives.
Be sure to stop by the Helmar Facebook Page and say "hello" today!! Please let them know that your friends at Clearsnap sent you over :) Scroll down to the end of this post to enter to win today's prize, our Top Boss THICK Clear Embossing Powder, a Top Boss Watermark Inkpad, and an assortment of Stephanie Barnard Sprays!
Now, let's see how Creative Team member Suzanne Austin puts these Clearsnap goodies together with Helmar Adhesive for a fab, artsy scrapbook page:
Hey everyone! Suzanne here to share a quick layout that I've put together using some of my favorite Clearsnap products and one of my all time favorite adhesives, Helmar's 450 Quick Dry.
I knew I wanted pops of red on this particular layout (the car is a bright red) so I used one of my go-to inks, Colorbox Stephanie Barnard's Premium Dye Ink Spray in "Strawberry." After spraying a piece of watercolor paper with the Premium Dye Ink Spray, I heat embossed it with Top Boss "Clear" Thick Embossing Powder.
I love the texture that the Thick Embossing powder lends! You could totally heat this until it smooths out, but I'm partial to the funky texture that I achieved here!
The entire layout was assembled using Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Glue. Because I used heavier weight paper, I needed to ensure that it wasn't going anywhere and 450 Quick Dry is "the" perfect glue for the job. It's dries fast and is super strong- plus, it is acid-free!
Thanks for dropping by and stay tuned for more projects from our Creative Teams! Head on over to the Helmar Blog to see more from their team!
