Santa's Little Helper Scrapbook Tutorial
- Cut a 12 X 12 piece of imaginisce Christmas Magic for the Santa's Little Helper line down to 10"X10".
- Aggressively run a paper distressing tool over the edges of the 10X10 page. Once the edges have been distressed with the tool, ink the edges with the Celebrate ColorBox Petal Point Cranberry Pigment Ink Brush Pad.
- Cut a border strip from the Jingle All The Way Imaginisce Paper. Cut the strip down to 9” in length. Adhere the strip vertically along the right side of the paper.
- Using a die machine, cut a decorative border strip using a piece of the Imaginisce Holiday Hoppia Paper. Glue the decorative strip vertically on the edge of the Jingle All The Way Strip.
- Cut a border strip from the Jingle All The Way Imaginisce paper. Cut the strip down to 9” in length. Adhere the strip horizontally along the lower bottom of the paper. Ink the edges of strip with the Earthworks Ancient Page Petal Point Pine Permanent Dye Ink Brush Pad.
- Using a die cut machine, cut a 6x6” circle.
- Using the Doodles Jumbo Rollagraph Design Wheel Stamp, stamp the 6X6” circle. Immediately after stamping the image, sprinkle ColorBox Peppermint Scentz Scented Embossing Powder over the stamped image. If you are using a tidy tray, gently tap the corner of the box on the tray to remove all the excess embossing powder. A folded piece of paper works just a well. If any stray bits of embossing powder still remain on the surrounding image, use a small paint brush to gently remove the stray embossing powder.
- Distress the edges of the die circle with the Celebrate ColorBox Petal Point Moss Green Pigment Ink Brush Pad.
- Place a double matte on the photo and adhere the photo over the die cut circle. Off set the photo over the die cut circle.
- Distress the edges of the photo mat with the Celebrate ColorBox Petal Point Cranberry Pigment Ink Pad.
- Punch 2 flowers from a punch or die cut system. Punch 1 large flower and 1 medium flower from the punch or die cut system.
- Distress the flower edges with Celebrate ColorBox Petal Point Pigment. Place one of the flowers on a stamp pad or mouse pad. Roll a rub-on tool over the entire flower causing the flower petals to curl upward. Repeat this process with the other flower.
- Glue one flower layer over the other, staggering the petals. Punch a hole in the center of the flower and place a brad through the hole.
- Brush a light coat of Firecracker Smooch Glitz over the top petals. This will give the flower some Christmas sparkle. Make three flowers.
- Adhere one flower to the upper right corner and lower left corner of the photo.
- Adhere one flower to the lower right on the horizontal strip at the bottom of the page.
- Using a die cut machine, cut out three large flourishes and one small flourish.
- Stamp the flourishes with Top Boss Watermark Ink Pad. Immediately after stamping the flourishes, sprinkle ColorBox Snickerdoodle Scentz Scented Embossing Powder over the stamped image. If you are using a tidy tray, gently tap the corner of the box on the tray to remove all the excess embossing powder. A folded piece of paper works just a well. If any stray bits of embossing powder still remain on the surrounding image, use a small paint brush to gently remove the stray embossing powder. Add two coats of embossing powder.
- Adhere the flourishes around the flowers.
- Using a die cut machine, cut out a decorative circle. Place one of the chipboard stickers from Imaginisce’s Santa’s Little Helper Collection onto the die cut decorative circle. Adhere to the upper right hand corner of the page.
- Add one of the chipboard stickers from Imaginisce’s Santa’s Little Helper Collection to the lower left of the page. Adhere the chipboard sticker directly over the horizontal strip.
- Adhere the chipboard Imaginisce penguin sticker near the lower right hand of the photo.
- Adhere two of the Imaginisce’ s Santa’s Little Helpers die cut sentiments to the page.
- Glue the 10X10” page to a 12X12” piece of Light Blue Bazzil cardstock.
- Aggressively run a paper distressing tool over the edges of the 12X12 page. Once the edges have been distressed with the tool, ink the edges with the Celebrate ColorBox Petal Point Cranberry Pigment Ink Brush Pad. When dry, brush the edges with Firecracker Smooch Glitz.
