Hi! Tami here with a baby card to show you; a fussy little card for a boy...
Baby boy cards can be fussy too! Why should girls get all the fun? You just have to use a little restraint, which obviously I did NOT since I embossed almost every bit of this card.
I didn't really mean to emboss the background of the card. I know that Watermark Ink has a nice long dry time, but I was impatient and sprinkled the embossing powder onto my sentiment without checking and it stuck to some of the background. So --- I embossed the WHOLE background!
But, the accidental embossing of the background brought on a new discovery. Did you know you could emboss Smooch Accent Inks? Well you CAN! I wanted the sentiment to blend in somewhat with the background, but had planned on adding some shadowing using Smooch. But now that the background was embossed in places, I knew that the Smooch would not dry well on those areas. So, what to do? Well, Smooch Accent Ink is just that - ink - so why not try embossing it. It worked beautifully...
The accent paper was embossed too but it was treated to a special inking technique first. The stamp was inked with Watermark Twinkle Pearl Ink, then several ColorBox Pigment Inks were tapped on and slightly blended. This created a multi-shade image when stamped...
