Hi there! Ryann Salamon (link: http://ryannmarin.wordpress.com) here for another guest post featuring "something sweet"! I know Valentine's Day is over but I have another project you could easily do for any holiday or occasion. With only a few simple steps you can have your candy bar treats all decked out for the holidays!
I started by spraying my white cardstock with Smooch Spritz. To get a light covering I've found that spraying the bottle far away from my project results in less intense color. I then matted the white cardstock with turquoise cardstock and scored the sides to fit the candy bar (Peanut Butter Twix - yum!!) After creating the shape of the wrapper, I then set about decorating using Design Adhesives { link: http://clearsnap.com/products.cfm/85/Design-Adhesives } and Glitter { link: http://clearsnap.com/products.cfm/84/Glitter }. After the glitter is set, finishing decorating your wrapper using items from your holiday stash. An easy project that would be great for kids classroom treats or for your co-workers.
