Hi - Jean Okimoto here...with a flirty little dress made of Smooch-Spritzed papertowels recycled from a previous project. They're diecut, edged with ColorBox Fluid Chalk Tangerine and Rouge - and accented with Design Adhesives and little treasures from Hydrangea Hippo.
Here's the January project in the background, with the diecut, spritzed doilies that created papertowels in shades of Pink Sprinkles, Tea Party and Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz. Be sure the papertowels are completely, thoroughly, 100%-super-dry before starting this project. The Hearts, Primitive BigZ die created a set of layering hearts for the LOVE project. I saved the spritzed background, then diecut four scalloped circles with the Circles, Scallop BigZ die.
Diecut another piece of papertowel and a scrap of cardboard form the second-largest heart. Attach the papertowel heart to the cardboard heart for dimension. Trim the sides of the heart to taper it a bit. Burnish the large flourish from the Memory Box Collection Brocade Design Adhesives onto the heart. Brush Cotton Candy Glitter onto the adhesive pattern. Ink the edges of the heart using the Stylus, Tip and Rouge.
Cut the papertowel circles in half, layer them, then fold the stack in half and trim the cut edges at an angle. Ink the edges of the two lighter semi-circles with Rouge, then ink the other two with Tangerine. Attach them to each other at the top center of each layer, leaving the ends and edges loose and fluttery.
Attach them to the bottom of the decorated heart. Attach a piece of pink elastic at the "waistline," then attach the ribbon rose over the elastic. Burnish the flourish pattern onto natural cardstock, then brush Charcoal Glitter onto the adhesive pattern. Trim the cardstock to 2-1/2" x 7 " and attach the dress. Cut a 2-1/2" x 7-1/2 strip of Apricot Cardstock.
Stamp happy happy on the smoother side of Sour Apple Cardstock with Charcoal and trim it into a strip. Cut, fold and score an 8-1/2" x 3-3/4" card of salmon cardstock. Assemble the card, using foam dots for the greeting.
