A Little Alteration...

Hello! Tami here!

I'd like to share a project that I am working on with you. It's an altered book using the Tropical Travelogue line by Graphic 45.

I enjoy creating altered books, and Clearsnap products help make them even better. I incorporate a variety of different Clearsnap products in all my altered books.

Here is a look at the front cover of the book, which was made by cutting apart a printed paper and layering the pieces. ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink in Chestnut Roan, which was applied using the Stylus & Tips around the edges of all the pieces, helps define them and make them POP!

The "boardwalk" or "pier" was distressed using the Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink again to age it and add more dimension...

And to add a vintage touch to plain paper flowers, a script stamp and Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink were used to stamp a design on them...

ColorBox Chalk Inks were also used to create this colorful fringe trim on some of the pages...

These cut out flowers and shells were both given a coat of Illuminate Smooch to bring out the colors and add SHINE...

And Smooch Spritz in Sun Kissed, Gingersnap and Sea Kiss were spritzed around the seagull sticker on this page...

These are just a few ideas of how to use Clearsnap products in your altered book projects. We'd love to see what YOU create with all the fabulous inks and more that Clearsnap makes. Please consider sharing your creations with us on the CLEARSNAP FACEBOOK PAGE.

And don't forget, we have another chance for you to win through our "Green With Inky" contest going on via Pinterest right now -- all the details are HERE.

Thanks for visiting us here on the Clearsnap Blog today! We have new projects for you EVERY day, so be sure to come back tomorrow!
