Spring Dreams

Hi - Jean Okimoto here - with a spring-themed tag in greens and purples.  It's one of my favorite color combos,  and Clearsnap offers an array of inks and accents in those great shades.

• Memory Box Russian Sage Cardstock
• Purple Cardstock Scrap
• Diecut Machine and Plates
• Memory Box Small Pinwheel Posie Die
• Scor-Tape Sheets
• Screw Punch
• Paintbrush
• Scor-Tape (2" square)
• Quilling Tool or Chalking Tool (with a clip end)
• Purple Cow Freestyle Mouse Cutting Kit & Blade #2806
• 1/4" and 5/8" Circle Punches
• Purple Tulle
• 1/4" Wide Lime Satin Ribbon

Directions

• Stamp the background on Russian Sage Cardstock with the Jumbo Handle, Flannel Gray Cartridge and Say What? Design Wheel
• Dry the ink, trim it to 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" and ink the edges with Grape
• Burnish the Branches and Blooms pattern onto the background and brush Grape Fizz Glitter onto the buds
• Press Limeburst Designer Foils (green-side-up) onto the remaining adhesive pattern
• Attach a 2" square of Scor-Tape to a scrap of purple cardstock and diecut Small Pinwheel Posie

• Burnish Plum Crazy Designer Foils (purple-side-up) onto the diecut
• Starting at the other edge, use the quilling or chalking tool to loosely roll the diecut into a spiraled circle
• Attach Scor-Tape to the round portion in the center and firmly press the posie onto the tape
• Brush Grape Fizz Glitter onto any tape visible from the top
• Stamp Dream on the smoother side of Parakeet Cardstock with Grape, trim the bottom with the Purple Cow decorative blade
• Ink the edges with Grape and punch three holes along the left side
• Attach a piece of tape behind the holes and press Grape Fizz Glitter onto the adhesive through the holes
• Attach a 5/8" circle of Parakeet Cardstock to the top of the tag and punch a 1/4" circle through both layers
• Attach the tulle, ribbon and cord
• Assemble the tag, using foam dots for the greeting
