Hand Dye-d Feather Earrings

Hello! Sabrina Alery here with you today to share one of my favorite things about springtime - new accessories! Don't get me wrong, fall and winter neutrals are great but after 8 long months of grays, browns and whites I am ready for some sunshine and color!

Feather earrings have been increasing in popularity over the last few years and you can find them in just about any store but did you know just how easy it is to make a pair or 10 in any color you like? Take a cue from your ink label and use your Colorbox Premium Dye Inks by Stephanie Barnard (or reinkers) to dye some feathers!

All you need is a little water and a paintbrush - paint the ink on as light or as saturated as you please. Blow dry your feathers to restore that fluffy quality, stamp some imitation spots and sprinkle with glitter for a touch of shine.

Take a look at this video tutorial to see the super simple instructions for dyeing and assembling your own feather earrings.
