Crafty Crepe Paper Carnation Flowers

Hello! Hostess Tami here with my "assistant", my youngest son Chris, with a quick and easy project to share for you.

I had picked up a roll of crepe paper to "play" with, and decided to try to roll up some flowers. Chris saw me working on them and wanted to help. So this quickly became a kid-friendly project!

Chris, age 10, is a crafty kid. He LOVES to play with all types of products, especially CLEARSNAP products, and is happy to tell everyone that mom's studio is HIS studio too!

To make the carnations, we spritzed some white crepe paper with Smooch Spritz, placed in the Color Catcher so not to make a mess. We chose a red, white and blue color scheme for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Then used some simple techniques and supplies to put them together.

Here's Chris holding our finished bouquet...

And here is a closeup look at the flowers...

Chris also helped me put together a short tutorial showing you how to make these crafty flowers yourself...
