A Summer Card with Queties

Hi everyone Denise Hahn here with a quick little card using one of my favorite new Clearsnap products; Colorbox Queties Cats Eye Pigment ink. This collection is called Party! The queties are a smaller version of the Queues. They have done all the work in putting together complimentary colors for us, and that's why I like them! I would have never put these colors together myself, yet they work so perfectly for this card. So onto the card here... I like to make cards to send out some of my vacation photos to my family, so I picked Tropical Travelogue for this one.
First I cut out my card base with some textured bazzill basics cream cardstock and using my stylus starter kit just stamped some random flowers on the background with the green.
Then I layered another piece of Grahic 45 cardstock in the center after I inked its edges.
After I chose and inked my chipboard frame, I cut out the center so you could see the inside of the card
Then I created the flower by stamping more flowers with the Graphic 45 Travelogue stamps on the same cream cardstock and then inked the edges with the red
I just used the entire quetie as a stamp to make the flowers and of course smooched it up with some Vanilla Shimmer!
The I stamped out the word Paradise and the lovely vintage lady with the blue-I colored her in with a prismacolor marker
Then since you could see through the window, I used my Rollagraph to create the background image
I love to add dimension to my cards so I didn't glue the edges all the way down and sort of folded them up. I hope you will go outside of your color "comfort zone" so try out some queties!
