25 Tags Advent Calendar

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving (to all of our US readers) from everyone at Clearsnap! Hope you are enjoying the day with lots of good family, friends and food. For many, today also marks the beginning of the holiday season and I am starting early with our first bit of seasonal decor - an advent calendar.

Perhaps you've seen some cute tag style calendars floating around Pinterest and like the idea but feel it is a bit too daunting a project to tackle? Not the case - creating your own advent calendar is easy and fun too! In a 3 video tutorial series, I will show you how to create each of these 8 tags using a plethora of products from Clearsnap - including a few brand new goodies!

One of the best parts of this style calendar is the versatility. Hide messages or fun activities behind each tag and have your child read it each morning. Clip notes, ticket stubs and receipts behind the corresponding date to keep track for your December Daily album. Remove the tag each day to adorn a special tree.

These 3 tags are covered in the first video where we go from pretty and girly to rustic and then inky. I created multiples of each tag but you could also make each one completely unique.

Another great thing about this style of advent calendar is that if you ever tire of any of the tags or want to add to the collection, it is easy to remove to replace. The chicken wire makes such a handy clip but nails or brads would do the job just as well.

Video 2 covers the next three tag styles.

And in the final video we'll take a look at creating these two tags. Be sure to make Christmas Day extra special!
