Christmas Tags X TWO!

Hello! Hostess Tami here!

You get 2... that's TWO projects for the price of ONE today!

I was invited to do a make & take and demo for a local stamp store's 20th anniversary celebration. Quite a crowd showed up to partake of the festivities at Stamp Antonio here in San Antonio and my 2 hour session stretched into 3 1/2!

Here are the tags that I designed for the make & take and demo...

The Santa tag features: Smooch Spritz, Smooch Accent Ink, ColorBox Pigment Ink and Top Boss Embossing Powders...

The tag was first spritzed lightly with Candle Glow Smooch Spritz. When dry, it was stamped and embossed with ColorBox Chestnut Pigment Ink and Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder. The design was then filled in with Smooch Accent Ink in: Sundance, Kiwi, Siren, Mocha, Green Apple, Moonlight and Snickerdoodle. Frost Smooch Glitz was used on the beard and fur over the Moonlight. ...

The "Merry Christmas" was stamped using ColorBox Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk Ink. The ribbon was "dyed" using Holly Berries Smooch Spritz. An oxidized jingle bell held with a dress pin accents the ribbon...

The bottom of the tag was torn and the edges were distressed using ColorBox Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk Ink applied with ColorBox Stylus & Tip. Frost Smooch Glitz was added over the ink along the torn edge.

The ornament tag features: Stephanie Barnard Spray!, Twinkle Watermark Ink Pearl and Stardust, ColorBox Archival Dye Ink and Smooch Accent Ink...

Watermark Twinkle Pearl Ink was used to stamp the smaller snowflakes on the tag. A heat gun was used to speed up the dry time, then the tag was sprayed with Sky Stephanie Barnard Spray!. The watermark ink makes the Spray! darker so it shows up with a pearly sheen against the matte background. Then the larger snowflakes were stamped using Watermark Twinkle Stardust Ink...

The ornaments were stamped on another manila tag that had been sprayed with Sky Spray! as well using Atlantic Blue ColorBox Archival Dye Ink. Accents were added to the ornaments and penned in strings using Silver Fox Smooch Accent Ink...

Flowers accent the sentiment, which was stamped on the extra manila tag, cut out and accented around the edges with Atlantic Blue Ink applied using the Stylus & Tip and Silver Fox Smooch Accent Ink...

Both tags feature NEW! seasonal stamps from Stampendous: St Nick, Ornament Greetings  and Christmas Wishes

Here is a quick video of photos taken during the make & take; lots of lovely ladies "smooching" away...

Thanks to all the ladies who attended the make & take and demo and "SMOOCHED"!
