Giving Thanks

Friday at last!  Jean Okimoto here - with a thank you card idea for November.  It's another easy one - get your Color Catcher and Smooch Spritzes out and get ready to create a bunch of these in no time at all.

Place Dessert Sun Cardstock in the Color Catcher and spritz it with Green Olive, Tea Party, Emerald Sprinkle and Cherry Ice.  Spritz several sheets of cardstock while you're at it - you'll have them ready and waiting for fall projects throughout the month.  Dry the inks.

Cut the cardstock with the Classic Pear Die.  Cut Espresso Cardstock with the Embellished Pear Die - use the Metal Adapter Plate along with the other plates required for thin metal dies.  Ink the edges of the pear using the Stylus, White Blending Tip and Khaki Green.  

Diecut the leaf from green felt and the stem from scrap cardboard and attach them to the pear.  Attach the Embellished Pear overlay to the pear.

Burnish the greeting - from the Lots of Thoughts Design Adhesives - onto the smoother side of Sour Apple Cardstock and emboss it with Truffle.  Trim it and ink the edges with Khaki Green.

Cut a 1-1/2" x 4-7/8" strip of Hillary Cardstock.  Assemble the card, using foam dots to attach the greeting.
