Sprinkles, Anyone?

I have to admit--this is my favorite time of year!! I love all of the glitter and tinsel and festivities, the smell of cinnamon and gingerbread wafting from the kitchen, festive sleigh bells ringing....oh it is so wonderful!

And, one of the most wonderful things is that this holiday season is an excuse to glitter everything and glitter it very very thoroughly!

This summer, we released a brand new glitter by Stephanie Barnard called "Sprinkles!". This chunky, fun glitter has a very vintage and icy feel to it, perfect for holiday decor. Paired with Smooch Spritz in Vanilla Shimmer, well, its about as perfect as gum drops and candy canes!

Each of these little houses was created the same way:
  1. Paint a wooden mini bird house with ivory acrylic paint and allow to dry.
  2. Apply pearl bead trim to the house as desired.
  3. Liberally cover the roof of the house with Mod Podge using a foam paint brush. Shake on Stephanie Barnard Spinkles! Glitter, tapping off excess. Allow to dry.
  4. Create rolled flowers from vintage book pages and add to the bird house using hot glue.
  5. Add a bow or ribbon to the house as desired.
  6. Place the bird house inside of a Color Catcher and liberally spray with Smooch Spritz in Ginger Ale or Vanilla Shimmer. Allow to dry.
  7. Display and enjoy!
