Rollagraphed Ombre Background

Hi! Sabrina here to share a new take on a favorite trendy technique - ombre. This trend has been showing up on everything from nails to home decor to birthday cakes and I don't think I'll ever tire of that soft gradient color. After all, it's a great excuse for owning inks in every shade!

For this technique, I used  the Rose Rollagraph stamp wheel to layer on several shades of Colorbox Premium Dye Inks. The Rollagraph allows the colors to softly change from darkest to lightest without any noticeable point of stopping or starting. And even though the image from the stamp wheel isn't visible, you still get a few crisp outlines from the design - they almost look like brush strokes.

The winter blues are always pretty, as is this version in shades of pink - perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day. For an even softer look, try using Colorbox Chalk inks.
