Hi - Jean Okimoto here - with a mixed-ink project, and a few reasons why I've selected the Clearsnap products featured here. Stamping Love Defined with Watermark Twinkle Pearl on glossy white cardstock and embossing it with detail clear powder creates a pearly image that resists the Chalk Queue inks - and gets lightly tinted with the 3 inks.
Stamp Love Defined on glossy white cardstock with Watermark Twinkle Pearl and emboss it with detail clear powder. Have a facial tissue handy for this technique.
Ink the center portion with Rose Coral. Ink the adjacent areas with Dark Peony and Warm Red, leaving some uninked areas between the colors. Quickly blend the colors together with the tissue - this also removes the residual ink on the embossed image makes it visible again. Trim the cardstock. The inks glide smoothly onto the embossed image, blend (work quickly here!) - and dry to a glossy finish.
Stamp the hearts with on the smooth side of Petunia Cardstock with Ruby and emboss it with Opalescent Clear Powder. A rich pigment ink like Ruby has is great for embossing and the Opalescent Clear Powder creates finish that sparkles in a rainbow of colors.
Attach Scor-Tape to a scrap of cardstock and diecut "XO" using the Parker Upper Alphabet Dies. Brush Silver Lining Glitter onto the adhesive. Cut a 2" x 3.75" strip of Dark Red Cardstock. Attach everything to a 4.25" x 5.5" card of kraft cardstock - use foam dots to attach the hearts.
