How cute is this stamp from Northwoods Rubber Stamps?!?! A very dear friend of mine gifted it to me and I just couldn't resist giving it some inky love! She also sent me a card using the same stamp...I thought the design was perfect and could be easily replicated for teacher/class gifts...so I (with permission :D) lifted her design!
These are the yummy inks used to create the card and tag!
I started off by stamping the image onto a piece of cork paper (from my stash) using ColorBox Archival Dye Ink in "Wicked."
While the ink was still wet, I gave it a coat of Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder and heat set dry; embossing the image made it "pop" and added dimension. After the image cooled, I began filling in the hearts with various colors of Smooch Accent Inks and ColorBox Crafter's Ink (from the mini bottle 4-pack "Sassy"). The fine tip on the Smooch Ink applicators really come in handy with this kind of detail work..especially for someone like me that's "color inside the lines" challenged! Once everything was dried and cooled, I fussy cut the image out and it was ready to go!
The greeting on the side is a Design Adhesive topped with Designer Foils.
Adding Smooch Glitz in "Prism" adds a touch of sparkly whimsy to the jar.
