2013-2014 Creative Team Call

Clearsnap is pleased to announce we are looking for new artists to join our team! We are looking for 6 enthusiastic, dynamic, and organized crafters who love working with ink, stamps, and mixed media techniques. Our team is for crafters, jewelers, and artists who are ecstatic about ColorBox® inkpads, Rollagraph® Stamp Wheels, Smooch®, and other Clearsnap products and love to share their passion with others! If you are excited to share your work and talk about Clearsnap everywhere you can, then you may be the artist for us!

We are looking individuals who can offer the following:

*    A Passion for Creating!
*    Strong Written Communication Skills and Solid Project Photography Skills
*    Ability to Meet Deadlines
*    An Updated and Active Blog
*    Updated and Active Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts 
*    Experience with Video Tutorials 
*    Experience with Stepped Out Written Tutorials
*    Artists with experience in Fiber Arts, Altered Art, Scrapbooking, Cardmaking, Quilting, Jewelry, Clay, or any other craft discipline in which you have used Clearsnap products (We really want to add some jewelry, fabric, mixed media, and other artists besides just paper crafts!!)
*    We are looking for team members in the United States only at this time (due to shipping times for materials).

Design Team Expectations:*    3-5 Projects Monthly as follows:
*    2 Projects Monthly for Blog Posts, one of which must be a video tutorial (2-3 project photos with supply list) *includes opportunity for monetary compensation
*    1 Project Monthly for Product Spotlight (1-2 project photos with a supply list)
*    1 Project Monthly for Clearsnap Technique Video Series (1 project photo, interpretation of an assigned technique)
*    Participation in Blog Hops about 1-2 times per month (can take the place of one of your 2 monthly blog posts)
*    Participation on the Clearsnap Facebook Page (min. once a week) 
*    Participation in Clearsnap twitter chats (min. once every other month)
*    Submit your Clearsnap work for publication *includes opportunity for monetary compensation
*    Professional presence online and at trade shows
*    Good communication with Social Media Coordinator

Compensation:

*    Promotion of you and your work on the Clearsnap Blog & via Social Networks
*    Generous product shipments filled with Clearsnap Brand Products & partner company products
*    Opportunities for Trade Show work, print ad sample design, video tutorials, and other financially compensated work
*    Training and mentoring as a designer 
*    Clearsnap Bio Photo to display with all of your posts
*    Clearsnap Designer Watermark to display on all of your work
*    2 "Vacation Days" Per Term

*    In 1-2 paragraphs, tell us a little about yourself - your family, hobbies, how long you have been creating, how you started creating, your design style and philosophy, etc...We want to get to know you. 
*    In 1-2 paragraphs, tell us why you want to work with Clearsnap as a designer. Include information about your experience with Clearsnap products. 
*    A link to your current online resume, including current obligations and design teams, if any
*    Links to your Facebook profile, Twitter account, Pinterest account, You Tube account (if you have one), and any other online social media you would be willing to use to promote your work with Clearsnap 
*    Link to your blog/website and an online gallery of your work if you have a separate gallery 
*    Please let us know the following: Do you have Adobe Photoshop or a way to add a watermark to and edit your photos? Do you have the ability to film and edit video (or are you willing to learn)?
*    Do you teach workshops or classes? Please tell us, in one paragraph, about where you teach, how often, the types of project you teach, and any other information you think would be important for us to consider. If you do not teach workshops, that is completely fine :) 
*    Links to 3-5 samples of your recent work (within the last 6 months) which best showcase your style. Please include samples for all positions you are applying for - if you scrapbook and quilt, then please include work from both disciplines with your samples:

• 2 samples MUST include Clearsnap products. We want to see what you can do with our products.
• 1 sample MUST include a video tutorial or stepped out photo tutorial with written instructions and a supply list. This should be in a blog post you've completed on your blog or another company's blog. We want to see what you might submit to us as your monthly tutorial blog post.
• Please tell us a little background about each sample
• Please include only LINKS to your work - attachments cannot be accepted by our coordinator's email account
