I started another layout with a varied line of straight stitching. I had the "bright" idea to saturate said line with ColorBox Stephanie Barnard Premium Dye Ink Sprays to create some visual interest. Well that idea turned out to be quite the train wreck, but when I lifted the paper, I found a very cool inky pattern on the Bazzill cardstock below! (I REALLY saturated the stitching!)
While the stitched paper was still wet, I simply "stamped" the design a few times to create the inky base for the layout. I used "Guava," "Strawberry," and "Bubblegum" in Stephanie Barnard Premium Dye Ink Sprays to create the varied color pattern.
All stamping is in Colorbox Archival Dye Ink in "Wicked." Will I do this technique again? You betcha! Thanks for stopping by!
