The background of this tag is very textural and glittery! Let me show you how easy it was to create.
Next, mix the paste and Mix'd Media Inx together until there's even consistency.
For even more texture, I used a Clearsnap Molding Mat "Crackle Background" to add the "cracked" impression to the background! Before the background dried, I gave it a light dusting of Clearsnap Donna Salazar Fairy Dust Glitter in "Sugar Shimmer." Let dry (or use a heating tool to speed up the drying time) and you're ready to begin embellishing your totally customized and very textural tag! Here are a few close-ups:
The textured background and glitter really add a cool element to the tag. I inked the edges for depth using Mix'd Media Inx in "Truffle."
All die-cut flowers were either inked with Mix'd Media Inx or covered with "Pralines and Cream" Fairy Dust Glitter (applied using Clearsnap Glue Gloss).
This tag is ready for a greeting! Thanks for stopping by today, and stay tuned for more from our amazing Creative Team!

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! It brought tears to my eyes because I want to try this but until either my hand heals or I learn to craft one handed I am benched! My arm went through a window 11 days ago and I cut my wrist open, missing the artery on both sides by mere millimeters! 18 stitches later, and 11 days, I still cannot feel or moe my hand or fingers. I am crafting vicariously by drooling over beautiful projects like this one! Thank you for sharing this beautiful tag with me. I cannot wait until I can try this for myself! Have a great week and craft on!
ReplyDeleteYou've made me smile today Barb! Thanks for the kind words...and here's to that hand getting better so you can join in on the fun!
