Spraying It Up with Guest Designer Anna Wight!

All this month we are featuring Stephanie Barnard's partner products with Clearsnap...but did you know that Stephanie also has a stamp company, The Stamps of Life by Stephanie Barnard? We've invited Stephanie's team to create projects with us all month as guest designers, here on the Clearsnap blog. Please welcome, Anna Wight!!!

I'm always amazed and impressed with the color payoff of  ColorBox Stephanie Barnard Premium Dye Ink Sprays. For my project, I chose to use dye ink sprays in the colors Sky, Blueberry, and Spearmint. I wanted to create a background paper that would become the base of my project. I spritzed a bit of color on a craft surface. When I had enough color down for the size of my paper, I set watercolor paper into the color sprays and let it soak up into the paper. I lifted the paper from the color and dried it with a heat tool. Once dried, I spritzed the paper directly with color sprays to add another layer of color to the paper.

Once satisfied with the placement of the colors, I adhered the paper to my card base, and added a "road" of black card stock. I embellished my card with a fun red love bug for a big pop of color and a sentiment bubble. The car and the sentiment bubble are both popped up on foam adhesive for extra dimension.

Finally, once I was done with my project and it was time to clean up my work surface, I grabbed a handful of white rayon seam binding and used it to wipe up the left over sprays from my craft surface. The dye ink sprays add a beautiful color to the ribbon, making it a perfect embellishment to use on future projects!
