It's Personal...

The new year puts me in the mood to organize and label. Mostly to label because that is an EXCELLENT excuse to put off the actual work of organizing.

In this case, I am "organizing" some of my stationary by "labeling" it with my monogram. I know it's stretching it a bit, but it's always more fun to CREATE than it is to CLEAN!

This project only takes a few minutes; so you can complete it during a break from your cleaning and organizing.

Here's a look at the products that we will be using...

To create these pretty monogrammed cards...

The cards and envelopes are from the DITTO line from Hampton Art. They are pretty as they are; with the two sided print and the scalloped edges. But accessorizing them with a monogram dresses them up. Both the frame and the monogram are done using stamp sets from Stephanie Barnard's THE {STAMPS} OF LIFE.

ColorBox Pigment Ink comes in a RAINBOW of colors, so it was easy to find shades that complimented the cards. When paired with Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder, it adds gloss and shine to the monogram. And the inky goodness of Mix'd Media Inx Black Embossing Powder makes the details of the frame design POP!

And for a finishing touch, the edges of the cards were inked using the ColorBox Pigment Inks...
