Twine Flowers

Hello! Hostess Tami here with a card featuring flowers crocheted with baker's twine from The Twinery...

If you can do basic crochet, then you can whip these flowers up in no time {and if you can't, find a friend who can!}...

The flower centers are made using some blingy buttons from Bazzill tied with baker's twine...

The leaves were made by adhering twine to small cardstock rectangles in rows using double sided tape. Then just trim to create leaf shape...

The background was made using a template from Crafter's Workshop and two colors of Mix'd Media Inx applied using the Stylus & Tips. Mix'd Media Inx are super creamy, super blendable pigment inks that are perfect to use when stenciling...

The sentiment, from Hampton Art, was stamped on a piece of cardstock that had been inked using Vintage Mix'd Media Inx and distressed using Honey Inx applied using the Stylus & Tip...

  3. I need to go visit my mom and show her this card as she is an avid crocheter. She will be able to look at the flower and figure out the stitch. Then I can sit next to her and have her teach me ......I love this style!
