Brayered, Layered Shadow Dots Card

Hi - Jean Okimoto here with a dotty layered background design for you.  It's another quick and easy fast-drying ColorBox Premium Dye Inkpad project - it'll take 10 minutes, at the very most!

Stamps
  • Savvy Stamps  - Leaning Flower, Thank You Kindly and Large Medium Dots Big
Other Supplies
  • Paper Accents Dusk Cardstock (4.25" x 5.5" card)
  • Bazzill Basics Hillary and Sour Apple Cardstock
  • White Cardstock
  • 2" Soft Rubber Brayer
  • Screw Punch
  • Gold Mini-brads
  • Foam Dots
Directions
  • Brayer light, irregular, overlapping layers of Jalapeno onto white cardstock and allow the ink to dry
  • Stamp Large Medium Dots Big over the background with Jalapeno and allow the ink to dry
  • Stamp Leaning Flower over the dots with Royal Purple and allow the inks to dry
  • Trim the cardstock to 2.25" x 3.25" and ink the edges using the Stylus, Handle, Tip and Jalapeno
  • Stamp the greeting on the smoother side of Sour Apple Cardstock with Royal Purple and allow the ink to dry
  • Trim the cardstock into a narrow trip, notch the right edge, and ink the edges with Royal Purple
  • Cut a 2.25" x 3.25" strip of Hillary Cardstock
  • Cut a 2" x 4" strip or Sour Apple Cardstock
  • Assemble the card, using foam dots for the greeting
  • Attach mini-brads above the greeting
