Enchanted Butterfly Crown

Hi there! Sabrina here with you to share a video tutorial to create a stamped butterfly crown - perfect for birthdays, weddings or any summer celebration where you want to make the guest of honor feel extra special. Now while the assembly itself is pretty simple (stamp, emboss, glue) there are a couple of easy-to-recreate techniques tucked in to add to your repertoire.

To begin with, we'll use several shades of Smooch Spritz with water to create a mottled, multi-tone background. This will give color and shine to the butterflies in the shimmery, non-warping way that only Smooch Spritz can.

Next we add even more shimmer by mixing glitter and embossing powder to create a custom embossing powder. Finally a way to keep glitter in place!!

And finally, we assemble the crown with a touch of hot glue. You can buy a premade crown or make your own with some fixings from the floral aisle at your local craft store. I created this one will some willow branches and leaves picked from the river bank. Attach a couple lengths of ribbon at the back and you are all set.
