Watercolor String Art

Hello! Sabrina here today to share a fun technique using the Sprays! inks by Stephanie Barnard and an item you likely have lying around the house - string or yarn! I created some backgrounds for cards but you could certainly take this technique up a notch. Try it on your scrapbook layouts or even a canvas!

The vibrant, concentrated color in the bottles really sets the Spray! inks apart from other inks of the same nature. More color and less water means you need to use less product. And that also means less warped paper! I love that these Sprays! are exact color matches to the Premium Dye Inks by the same name. It makes coordinating your projects a cinch. Check out all 12 shades!

I hope you'll give this technique a try. The more color and water you add to your string, the more lovely the results. It really looks like brush strokes from a paint brush!
