More Glitter!

Hi - Jean Okimoto here - with a very glittery Valentine design to share with you.  The ColorBox Twilight Multi-Color Inkpad has the perfect combination of pinks, violets and purples for an ombre-d background.  A layer of Mixed Berries Fairy Dust Glitter creates a sparkling backdrop for the Quinn Flourish diecut by Memory Box.

But don't stop there!  Sparkling Amethyst Glitter on the Heart Chain Border and Top Boss Opalescent Embossing Powder add the final touches.  Here are the directions for this card:

Roll the brayer repeatedly over the Twilight Inkpad - lift the brayer each time, rather than rolling it back and forth, to ink it completely.  Brayer the inks onto white cardstock, then dry the inks.

Attach a 3" square of Scor-Tape to the dried inks.

Diecut Quinn Flourish from Wisteria Cardstock.  Press the diecut firmly onto the tape, then sprinkle Donna Salazar's Mixed Berries Fairy Dust Glitter onto the exposed adhesive.  Trim the glittered cardstock into a 3" square.

Attach Scor-Tape to Wisteria Cardstock and diecut it with Heart Chain Border.  Brush Sparkling Amethyst Glitter onto five hearts.  Yes, I spilled some!

Without re-inking, brayer the residual ink onto white cardstock and dry the ink.  Stamp "love" on the pink section of the leftover ink with the Pink from the Twilight Inkpad.  Emboss it with Opalescent Clear Embossing Powder, trim it and ink the edges using the Stylus, White Blending Tip and Pink.

Cut a 2" x 4" strip of Wisteria Cardstock.  Cut, score and fold a 5.5" square card of Cream Textured Cardstock.  Assemble the card, using foam dots for the greeting.

The colors on the Twilight Inkpad are Pink, Orchid, Lilac, Heliotrope and Violet ColorBox Classic Pigment Inks.  Refills to refresh these colors on the multi-color inkpad can be ordered thru your favorite Retailers.
