Time for Thank You's!

Now that the holidays are behind us, it is time to send THANK YOU cards for all those wonderful, thoughtful and considerate gifts you received {as well as any clunkers!}.

But If you are anything like me, after all the hustle and bustle of the season, you want the chore to be quick and simple.

This thank you card should fit the bill; it looks like you put a lot of time and effort into it - to show your due thankfulness, but it's really not that difficult to make...

You can churn this card out in bulk VERY easily and economically too. The base card size is 4 X 6 so you can get 3 cards per 12 X 12 piece of cardstock, and all the other pieces are smaller than 3 X 6, so you can get a LOT from one 12 X 12 sheet of paper. Also, the supplies needed are minimal so you can gather them up in a snap and be ready to craft!

We take a little help from a pre-embossed background paper that has been "smooched" using Smooch Spritz. It adds a touch of elegance without all the effort of embossing the paper yourself. AND - you can "smooch" the whole sheet at once, then cut into strips - FAST!...

"Smooched" paper flowers complete the card. You can fit TONS of flowers inside your Color Catcher and "smooch" all at once...

So don't put off writing your heartfelt thanks any longer! Get out a few supplies and get busy; you'll be done in NO time!

DIRECTIONS:

*NOTE: to speed up process if you are making multiple cards, be sure cut and fold cards first. Diecut all frames, then "smooch" embossed paper and flowers all at once and cut apart and use pieces as listed below.

1. Cut a 4 X 12 piece of black cardstock and fold in half to make card. 
2. Cut a 2 1/2 X 5 7/8 piece of embossed paper, place in Color Catcher and spritz using Spun Sugar and Gold Glow Smooch Spritz. When dry, adhere to right side of card.
3. Use Watermark Ink and Black Mix'd Media Embossing Powder to stamp and emboss "thanks" word block on kraft cardstock. Cut out around words, lightly distress edges using Charcoal Chalk Ink and adhere to left side of card.
4. Diecut frame from kraft cardstock and cut in half. Stamp and emboss "Many Thanks" using alphabet stamp set, Watermark Ink and Black Mix'd Media Embossing Powder. Lightly distress edges using Charcoal Chalk Ink and adhere towards bottom right of card using 3D Foam Squares.
5. Place flowers in Color Catcher and spritz using Spun Sugar and Gold Glow Smooch Spritz. When dry, adhere at left of sentiment; finish with rhinestone and pearl centers.
