Hearts

Hi - Jean here - taking a cue from the Rose Petals Fluid Chalk Queue.  It's a combination of romantic, colors that are perfect for layering - as though they're just waiting to be used on a Valentine card.  You don't even need to mask the images - just stamp the images, allow the inks to dry, and you're done!

The great heart and text stamps are from Hampton Art.  The diecut, using the classic Heart Chain Border Die from Memory Box,  was also punched and accented with Clearsnap's Sparkling Amethyst Glitter for a bit of sparkle.

Here are the directions for this project:

Clearsnap Products
Stamps
  • Love Heart, Love Defined and Studio G ("12 hearts") by Hampton Art
Other Supplies
  • Paper Accents Dusk Cardstock (3-3/4" x 8" card)
  • Bazzill Basics Tangy Taffy Cardstock  (3-1/8" x 4-1/4")
  • Natural Cardstock
  • Silver Cardstock
  • Memory Box Heart Chain Border Die
  • Diecut Machine and Plates
  • Screw Punch
  • Scor-Tape
  • Soft Round Paintbrush
  • Bazzill Tink Pink Tulle
Directions
  • Stamp the images on natural cardstock - Love Defined with Pink Pastel, "12 hearts" with Rouge and Love Heart with Dark Peony
  • Trim the cardstock,  ink the edges using the Stylus, Tip and Pink Pastel and mat it with Tangy Taffy
  • Tie a small tulle bow, trim the ends and attach it to the heart with Scor-Tape
  • Diecut the Heart Chain Border from silver Cardstock and punch the holes
  • Place a narrow strip of Scor-Tape behind the holes and brush Sparkling Amethyst Glitter onto the tape through the holes

That was quick - and quite easy - thanks to the Rose Petals Queue!
