Hello everyone Denise Hahn here with a "fun" little mini banner I created with Clearsnaps Queties, Smootch Spritz and Glitter. I love making these little banners, you can hang them anywhere! Across a birdcage, around a vase, on a door, a chair-back, even in layouts! They are quick and easy and can usually be made with just scraps. So lets get started, this is what you'll need:
Clearsnap Glitter- Winter Frost
Smootch Spritz-Vanilla Shimmer
Queties- Fiesta
Cardstock
Tacky Glue
Scalloped scissors
Foam core
Ribbon
Start with cutting out your foam triangles-cut a 6x2.5 inch strip then with a ruler measure out the pennants- I just eyeball it! Then glue them onto your cardstock, I am using October Afternoon Sasparilla Pony Express
Trim the edges
Ink the edges
Take a thin line of tacky glue ad run it on all sides
smear it down with your finger "tool"
Then dip each side into your glitter
I then glue down the opposite side of my cardstock, and snip each side with my scalloped scissors leaving enough room so it shows
So it looks like this!
ink it up using contrasting colors
give a light dusting of smootch!
Ink up your stamp, I am using 7 gypsies Vintage- Stamping them on white cardstock then cutting them out. I then glued on some glitter alphas (Anna Griffin)
Punch holes in the top corners
Assemble by running about 18 inches of ribbon through the holes and attaching the stamped letters with 3D adhesive foam
The best part about using foam core is you can stick things in it, here i have just a little straight pin on a red vintage glass bead
just pop in tin the bottom and add just a dab of glue
I wanted to bring a little more of the green color into the design so I just grabbed a white organza ribbon and inked it with my Quetie!
Thanks for having "fun" with me today!
