Doesn't the name just put a smile on your face?! This month our designers are sharing one of our signature products:
Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink™
This month our designers are "smooching" anything and everything. This versatile ink comes in a cute nail polish style bottle with a brush applicator in the lid to allow for easy and precise application of the ink. Smooch™ colors coordinate with our entire product line from Smooch Glitz™ to Smooch Spritz™ and more! Check out these designs from our team and find a surprise at the bottom of this post!
Designer Suzanne Austin shares a layout she created featuring "Smooch™ed" flowers:
Designer's Note: "I've used a Crafter's Workshop stencil with artists modeling paste. Once the paste dried, I applied Carrot Smooch™ Accent Ink over the the raised flowers and Celery over the leaves and stems; Tuxedo was used around the edges for highlights."
Designer Megan Aaron shares a sophisticated card featuring a unique resist technique:
Designer's Note: "Smooch™ inks are so versatile. One of my favorite techniques is stamping with embossing ink and clear embossing, then using the smooch to color in the non embossed parts. The Smooch™ ends up looking sort of like watercolor with a gorgeous shimmer. The best part about this technique is that if you get some smooch outside the lines onto the embossed part, you can just wipe it away with a tissue."
Supplies: Clearsnap: Smooch Accent™ Ink in Lettuce, Pool and Frosted Aqua, Top Boss Watermark Ink, Top Boss Clear Embossing powder, Stephanie Barnard Dye Ink in Cornflower
Other: Hero Arts and Studio G stamps, Twine from the Twinery, Bazzill Cardstock.
Did you know you can color in stamped images with Smooch™? Designer Sabrina Alery not only colored the flowers on this card with Smooch™, but she also added a bit of shimmer to the buttons in the flower centers.
Designer's Note: Smooch Accent™ ink is perfect for coloring in stamped images and also adding a touch of pearlized color to any embellishment, like the buttons on this card. It dries on any surface and the shape of the bottle is too cute to resist!
Designer Jean Okimoto shares a couple of cards she will be teaching in an upcoming class, featuring Smooch™ of course!
Designer's Note: "Smooch™ Accent Inks and Glitter...perfect for any celebration! Join us at the Tukwila Impress on the 4th of July for the BIRTHDAYS HAPPEN! class. Quirky, lighthearted greetings, sassy gals, flowers, diecuts and inky techniques add ageless glam to birthday cards for all ages."Designer Denise Hahn made Smooch™ the star of the show on this card, featuring it as the only ink on the entire project! Denise loves how Smooch™ makes everything look gilded.

Paper DCWV La Creme Stack- white and gray
