Clearsnap: Shimmery, Glimmery Tic-Tac-Toe

Hi - Jean Okimoto here - with a combination of colors I never thought I'd combine, much less post on a blog! Here they are...Khaki Green, Peony, Cyan, Marigold, Turquoise, Orange, Fresh Green and Violet, Honey Glow, Gold Glow and Citrus Tickle. And if that's not enough toss in some Sour Apple, Tangy Taffy and Mahalo.

There's just something about warm sunny days (even here in Seattle!) that make me want to toss a bunch of bright colors together. Try it - and you'll see what I
mean.

Place watercolor paper in the Color Catcher and spritz it with Citrus Tickle and Gold Glow. Spritz the paper - very lightly - with water. Let it air-dry for about five minutes, then press it with a dry iron on the cotton setting. Stamp Tic Tac Toe onto the background with Khaki Green. Trim the paper to 3.25" x 3.50" and ink the edges using the Stylus, Handle and Khaki Green.

Snap the Ink Cartridge and Design Wheel into the Inking Handle and stamp Blocks of Nature onto white cardstock. Heat-set the ink.

Pop the Peony, Cyan, Marigold, Fresh Green, Turquoise, Violet and Orange sections out of the case and ink the stamped patterns. Heat-set the inks. Punch nine design circles. Punch an additional nine circles from scrap cardboard and attach them to the design circles for dimension. Attach foam dots to three of the design circles (top row right, middle row left and bottom row center). Attach the circles to the grid.

Burnish the "CELEBRATE" onto Tangy Taffy Cardstock and brush Gold Glow Glitter onto the adhesive.

Cut a 2" x 4" strip of Tangy Taffy Cardstock. Cut a 1.25" x 4.75" strip of Mahalo Cardstock. Assemble the card, using foam dots to attach the greeting. Attach three gold mini-brads near the right edge.
