Just Smooch It!

Here's a card that's bound to make someone smile - no matter what kind of day they're having.  It even started off with stamping on gray cardstock, but somehow turned into a happy card.

Jean Okimoto here - with a Smooched, dotted, gridded, glittered card that's as much fun to make as it is to receive!  Hope you enjoyed yesterday's Clearsnap+Momenta blog hop - here's another idea using their 6x6 Set which just happens to match five Smooch Accent Inks - Sassy Pink, Green Apple, Pool, Kiwi and Grape Soda.

Featured stamps from Hampton Art are Funky Garden, Diffusion stripes DF2635 and the greeting from the PSO654 ditto set.

Stamp Funky Garden on the gray cardstock with Black and emboss it with detail clear powder.  Smooch it and dry the inks.  If any of the inks stray outside their territory, a slightly damp cotton swab will quickly clean it up.  You can also use a damp swab to blend different colors - like on the little bird.

Stamp the grid in both directions on the pink cardstock with Sea Crystal and trim the cardstock to 2-3/4" wide x 2-7/8" high.  Stamp the greeting on the green cardstock with Dark Peony.  Attach five 1/8" foam dots and press Grape Fizz Glitter onto the adhesive.

Cut a 3-3/4" wide x 3-5/8" high piece of the dotted print.  Cut a 3/4" x 4-1/4" strip of black cardstock.  Cut, score and fold an A6 (4-5/8" x 6-1/4") card of Paper Accents Aloha Cardstock.  Assemble the card, using foam dots to attach the greeting.
