I love the Charm Collection stamp set from Stampendous, it includes 20 adorably cute and absolutely little stamps ranging from birds, to borders to a chandelier with lots in between.
This set is perfectly proportioned to use for your jewelry making projects. I found a silver pendant with a slot in the side so an image could be inserted and decided to make my own mini collage to put in it using the Charm Collection stamp set.
Here's how it turned out...
I wanted this little project to have BIG impact so I used several techniques and products to create it.
First I used Smooch Spritz to lightly tint the background with a shimmery, vintage wash of color. Then I used Chalk Ink to add a background design - the postcard. Then for a splash of color, I stamped a floral spray and filled it in using ColorBox Archival Dye Inks as watercolors. For a touch of glitz, I stamped a border using Watermark Ink and embossed it in a soft gold tone. And, to add dimension, I stamped a tiny butterfly using Dye Ink and filled it in using Smooch Accent Ink. The butterfly was cut out and adhered using a 3D Foam Square so it would stand out from the background. Finally the collage was given a nice protective coat of quick drying, crystal clear Fast Finish Decoupage from Beacon Adhesives. A mixed collection of beads provide the finishing touch.
Here's a closer look at the pendant...
