Hello! Hostess Tami here with a card featuring Clearsnap's new SCENTZ Embossing Powders: Rootbeer, Bubblegum and Grape to show you...

These SCENTZ-ational new embossing powders come in fun "flavors" that last for several weeks when heat embossed. SCENTZ Embossing Powders are great to use on birthday cards - especially those for kids, young or young at heart, or on recipe cards or other food inspired projects. They also offer a little unexpected surprise on hello or missing you cards.

The cupcake was stamped and embossed piece by piece, then put back together making it easy to create a multi-colored embossed image...

This card also makes use of the inside cardstock piece left when I cut the frame for the cupcake using a die from Spellbinders. It was used to mat the sentiment on the inside of the card...

• Top Boss Embossing Pad: Tinted

• Beacon Adhesives: Zip Dry and Fabri-Tac

• 3D Foam Squares

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut a 4 1/4 X 11 piece of yellow cardstock and fold in half to make card.
2. Use dies and lime cardstock to make frame, reserving center.
3. Ink liner portion of cupcake and a little bit of frosting with Embossing Pad; stamp on white cardstock and heat emboss using Rootbeer Embossing Powder. 
4. Ink frosting portion of cupcake with Embossing Pad; stamp on white cardstock and heat emboss using Bubblegum Embossing Powder. 
5. Ink heart with Embossing Pad; stamp on white cardstock and heat emboss using Grape Embossing Powder. 
6. Cut out pieces and put cupcake back together, using 3D dot to adhere heart.
7. Tie a piece of baker's twine in a bow at upper left of frame, and insert pin though bow.
8. Adhere frame to front of card, then adhere cupcake at center using 3D dots.
9. Stamp and emboss sentiment on white cardstock using Embossing Pad and Grape Embossing Powder.
10. Cut out sentiment, mat on center from frame and adhere inside card.
11. To finish, use Fabri-Tac to adhere rick rack to top and bottom of card.
