Be Mine!

Happy Friday!  Can you believe it's that time of year already!?!?  Yes, Valentine's Day! Suzanne here to share with you today a Valentine card that I've created with the help of Top Boss Thick Embossing Powder and Donna Salazar's Mix'd Media Inx and Embossing Powder!

 

The background was created using Donna Salazar's Mix'd Media Inx and Embossing Powder in "Jasmine" and a Hampton Art background stamp.

The heart is a die-cut that I wanted to add a little "umph" to, so I covered it with Clearsnap's Emboss Gloss for Donna Salazar Designs and Top Boss Clear Thick Embossing Powder!  I love the look that the Thick Embossing Powder offers (look at that shine!).  For this application, while the initial coat was still hot, I applied another coat and  heated until I had a nice, smooth finish.  A piece of vellum sewn to the bottom half of the card, added twine and die-cut banners by Spellbinder's (stamped with Hampton Art Studio G stamps) and this card is finished!
