Gotta Love a Labrador

Here's a guy-card for Valentine's Day... with bold brass brads, masking tape - and a Labrador wearing a heart tag.  Jean Okimoto here - and I just discovered that the new Scotch Decorative Masking Tapes are great with Design Adhesives too.  You can use them to create unique, textured tapes that are tear-able and remove cleanly within 14 days on most surfaces.  Translation:  if you don't like it in one spot on your card, you can move it around until you find the perfect composition!

Stamp the Memory Box Gingham Heart onto red cardstock using the new ColorBox Limited Edition Pepper Pigment Inkpad.  Emboss it with detail clear powder.  Ink the edges using the ColorBox Stylus, Tip and ColorBox Wicked Black Archival Dye Inkpad.  Mat it with Brown Bag Cardstock and attach it to a 5.5" square card of black cardstock.

Burnish the hearts and BE MINE from the Be Mine Design Adhesives onto the Lime and Tangerine Decorative Masking Tapes and brush Charcoal and Ruby Slippers onto the designs. Trim the tapes lengthwise.  Tear the short ends and attach them to the card.

Diecut the Labrador from felt and tape gold cord around his/her neck.  Diecut Heart Delights from red felt and attach one of the small hearts to the gold cord.

Attach brass brads - and give this mancard to your special guy!
