Hello, hostess Tami here with a Mother's Day project to share with you featuring BO BUNNY's Double Dot Printed Papers, Ribbon and Lace Trim.
Hello, hostess Tami here with a Mother's Day project to share with you featuring BO BUNNY's Double Dot Printed Papers, Ribbon and Lace Trim.
A unfinished wood mini tote was covered with paper and embellished with paper roses, lace and ribbon...
This mini tote is the perfect size for a gift card or other diminutive sized present for Mom.
The printed paper on the front of the tote was first embossed, then inked using ColorBox Archival Dye Ink applied using the ColorBox Stylus & Tips, to highlight the embossed pattern. Printed papers with a subtle pattern, like Bo Bunny's Double Dot Papers, work great for this technique...
The diecut paper roses were also inked to show off the embossing, as well as inked around the edges to add some color variation. The back of the Double Dot Papers were white, as they were pulled from a 6 X 6 pad, so I also inked the back of the papers...
The shimmer on the roses is from a touch of Smooch Glitz because you HAVE to have a little BliNg! Smooch Glitz is a perfect, non-messy way to glitter your flowers. No glue and glitter mess that falls into the nooks and crannies of your flowers. Just paint on like nail polish wherever you want some gLitZ...
A wide piece of lace, ribbon bow and streamers, all from Bo Bunny, and a few handcut leaves finish off the piece...

Hey everyone! Suzanne here today to share a card that I've created featuring some pretty cool papers and embellishments from BoBunny and lots of inky goodness from Clearsnap!
The base of the card was created using a Crafter's Workshop stencil and Clearsnap Smooch Spritz. I achieved the watercolor effect by using a reverse stenciling technique with water and Smooch Spritz by Donna Salazar in "Caramel Latte" and "Candle Glow."
The doily has been colored using ColorBox Pigment Ink in "Curry" and given a slight brushing with Clearsnap "Emboss Gloss" by Donna Salazar and Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder in "Jasmine" (heat embossed). The yellow printed paper is from the BoBunny Double Dot "Bold and Bright" collection. I love the bright yellow, but it didn't work for this particular card. Therefore, I "dirtied" it up a bit by applying gesso, and ColorBox Pigment Ink in "Curry." Once the ink was dried, I randomly stamped the paper using BoBunny's "It is Written" stamps with ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink in "Creamy Brown" and again pigment ink in "Curry."
These flowers from BoBunny's Zinnia Blossoms collection were beautiful as is, but I wanted to glitz them up just a tad to fit in with the look of the card. I pulled off a couple of layers from the flower on the left to make it smaller. To age it a bit, I randomly inked the petals with ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink in "Creamy Brown," embossed them with Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder in "Jasmine" (again using Emboss Gloss), and applied ColorBox Stephanie Barnard "Sprinkles" Chunky Glitter using Clearsnap Glue Gloss to adhere. Both were spritzed with Smooch Spritz in "Vanilla Shimmer."
This card is a bit out of my comfort zone, but I had a blast creating it using these BoBunny goodies and some of my favorite Clearsnap inky goodness!! I hope you've enjoyed this project! Thanks for stopping by!
