NEW! Smooch Accent Ink Colors!!!

Hello, hostess Tami here with a card featuring all SIX of the brand, spanking
NEW! BEAU-T-FUL Smooch Accent Ink colors!

Copper, Platinum, Berry Punch, Spruce, Orchid Frost and Bayside!

The new colors are GOR-GEOUS! I created the card using a technique we've shown before; stamping with Smooch Accent Ink.

You prep you stamp by inking it with Watermark Ink, dot on the Smooch Accent Inks, placing different colors to "paint" in the stamp design, dab with your finger to gently blend, then stamp!

Here's the finished card, all the images were stamped in Smooch Accent Inks...

Here's a closeup of the floral design, you can see how beautifully the colors blend, and the pretty shimmer the Smooch Accents Inks give the stamped designs...

The flower centers were inked with Bayside and Copper Smooch, then a ring of Orchid Frost was added, and finally Berry Punch was used around the outer edges of the petals. Spruce and Platinum were used on the leaves and branches.

The border was done all in Platinum and the sentiment in Bayside. Both the floral piece and the sentiment were edged using the Copper Accent Ink...

When working with a stamp with a definite design and color scheme, you need to be sure to blend each "design" portion separately. For instance, with this stamp, the flowers were all blended, then with a clean "brush" - another finger - the leaves and branches were blended. If you are working with a background stamp and want a blend of multiple colors, there is no need to wipe your fingers!

The stamped images will take a little while to dry, or you can speed up the process using a heat gun. Smooch Accent Inks dry very quickly on paper, when you are using them to edge or fill in areas of a stamped design. But they are applied a little thicker when you use them with this technique, so they will take longer to dry.

    1. Wow, Tami! Would never have thought of putting Smooch directly on my stamps...or clear stamps especially...great results! Terrific project!
