Hey everyone, Suzanne here today to share a mixed media piece featuring
Smooch Spritz, Donna Salazar Fairy Dust Glitter and dimensional paint.
This piece started out as a photo that I'd transferred onto a piece of duck fabric using gel medium; once the transfer was complete, I adhered the fabric onto a 4x6 piece of chipboard. The stenciled flowers were created using one of my favorite Crafter's Workshop templates, Smooch Spritz in "Mixed Berries" and dimensional paint.
By simply spritzing and mixing the white dimensional paint with "Mixed Berries" (or any color of) Smooch Spritz, I've customized dimensional paint to work for my project needs! I very loosely "painted" leaves in various areas using diluted "Green Olive" Smooch Spritz with a paint brush. The edges were inked using "Dark Brown" ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink -chased very quickly with a wet paint brush. I finished by giving the flowers some sparkle with coordinating Donna Salazar Designs Fairy Dust Glitter in "Mixed Berries." The result is a very fun and customized piece! Thanks for stopping by!
