Mason Jar Crafts - Summer Sweets

Hi...Jean Okimoto here, with a fun summer giftjar idea inspired by the pretty colors of saltwater taffy.  Although the official "candy holidays" are over for a while  it's a colorful project that'll sweeten anyone's day.

Stamp in.circle me - by Susan K. Weckesser for Unity Stamp Company -  several times on natural cardstock with Pearl Watermark Twinkle and emboss it with detail clear powder.  Use the Stylus and Tips to ink the design with Sea Crystal, Rose Coral, Butter, Mint and Pink Sky.  The shimmery embossed image will resist the inks and make the colors pop.

Edge it with the Purple Cows Longwave Paper Trimmer Blade and attach it to a mason filled with a colorful assortment of saltwater taffy.  Stamp, emboss and ink the design again and cut it into a circle to line the jar lid.  Attach a bow of poufy green tulle.

Diecut The Crafter's Workshop "Sweet" from Bazzill Basics Whirlpool - save the negative and the two little pieces inside the "e" sections.  Use the negative to stencil "Sweet" onto Whirlpool Cardstock with Pearl Twinkle and emboss it with detail powder.  Handcut around the embossed word and glue the little pieces from the "e's" back into the open spaces.  (Trust me...this is easier done than said!)  Attach it to the wrapper with Scor-Tape.
