Sweet Baby

Hello, Tami here today with a baby card to share...

The sweet mother and child stamp is the focal point and is stamped in Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink. ColorBox Fluid Chalk Inks are opaque and are perfect to use anytime you want a soft matte look...

The sentiment was stamped in Rose Coral Chalk Ink at the bottom right of the mother and child stamp, then the piece was diecut and the edges were inked using Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink.

The background was stamped first with Rose Coral Chalk Ink, then overstamped using Watermark Twinkle in Pearl. The watermark ink was used to stamp directly over the chalk ink stampings and in between them. And don't worry if you don't line up the stampings exactly, it actually creates a 3-D effect if your Watermark stamps are just slightly off...

A border of pearls and a trio of paper flowers with vintage button centers add the finishing touches to the card...

  2. Tami this card is very pretty. I sadly, am going through my first Mothers day without my Mother. So this one is going to be hard for me. But if she were still alive, I would love to have made your card for her!
