Baby card

Hi, Daniela here, with a step by step tutorial on how to create this baby card.

I started by creating a square card base and stamping a piece of white cardstock with Clearsnap Rollagraph Stamp Wheel: Paint Splatter 2 and ColorBox Pigment Ink: Shabby Pink. I inked the edges with ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink: Toffee and a stylus with a foam tip. I added machine stitching to the card edges.

Die cut two nesting scalloped circles with Circles Scallop Sizzix Framelits and adhered both at the top of the card cutting off the excess. I applied Designer Adhesives: Vintage Heart to cotton tape and added Cotton Candy glitter over the top. The Designer Adhesives and glitter adhere to the cotton tape without any problems. Use a soft paint brush to brush off all the extra glitter.

Die cut four banners from Banners Pennants Sizzix Framelits  plain and stamp a banner from Banners4all stamp set using ColorBox Pigment Ink: Shabby Pink. Cover chipboard letters with Mix'd Media Inx: Jasmine and heat emboss with the same color embossing powder.

Adhere the cotton tape across the top of the card. Add a flower. Adhere four banners with chipboard letters to complete this baby card.

Thank you for stopping by today.

  1. This card is really cute, but I was thrown off at first when I saw the picture. Did you catch that the "a" in "baby" is backwards? Thank you for sharing your techniques. I really like the glitter scrolls
