Hello! Tami here with card today featuring the Retro Arrows set from Basically Bare...
I wanted to show a different ink on each of the different colors of chipboard Basically Bare offers. So I selected a white corrugated and black and kraft chipboard arrows to use for this card.
I used Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink to stamp a swirl pattern on the white corrugated arrow...
Jasmine Mix'd Media Inx and Embossing Powder to add a tiny dot pattern to the black chipboard arrow...
and ColorBox Archival Dye Ink in Wicked Black to stamp a small distressed music pattern over the kraft chipboard arrow...
Each of the inks stamped nicely on the Basically Bare arrows with no smudging or smearing thanks to the finish on the chipboard pieces {and AWESOME Clearsnap Inks!}
I wanted to stamp the sentiment on some dotted paper, but it was hard to read through the dots, even though it was stamped using Red Devil Dye Ink. So I outlined the letters lightly using first a fine tipped black pen, then a white gel pen...
And what FASHIONISTA would be complete without a little bLiNg? So a few small rhinestones were used to accent the stamped images...
