Get Ready to Party!

Bright, poufy flowers, tulle bows, streamers and glitter set the stage for any celebration!  Jean Okimoto here - with a quick, colorful way to welcome party guests as they arrive for the grand event.

Use a scrap of cotton fabric to ink a wood door hanger with Turquoise Crafter's  Pigment Ink.  While the ink's drying, diecut several layers of pink and yellow tissue and recycled magazine pages with Sizzix's Flower Layers 9, stack them and secure them with paper fasteners.

Scrunch the petals.  Brush the edges of the yellow and pink petals with Emboss Gloss and carefully emboss them with Top Boss Opalescent Clear Powder.  You'll discover that the petals become shiny, glittery AND stiffly scrunchy - pretty!

Ink the edges of the magazine page flower with ColorBox Orange Pigment Ink and emboss it with Opalescent Clear too. Diecut two sets of Flower Layers 8 from Moss Green Felt and use them as accents behind the flowers.

Burnish the greeting from the Celebrate Design Adhesives onto Apricot Cardstock and brush Ocean Spray Glitter onto the adhesive.  Trim it into a banner.

Attach everything to the doorhanger, using foam dots for the banner.  Top it with a turquoise tulle bow...and you're ready to party!
